Tiana Li is a LA-based designer who develops visual concepts.

Most recently, Tiana has been on the team that reset Nike’s digital retail images, the most viewed assets for the brand. For the past year, we have been evolving Nike’s foundational imagery from the bottom up.

In 2023, Tiana supported an evergreen Nike campaign, concepting across still life and on-figure shoots.
She also collaborated with Lyle Östling on dynamic imagemaking techniques for wall graphics and Nike ephemera.

GirlFend is a brand.

A coalition of hot pink, unapologetic feminine expression, historical reference, and saturated punchy graphics, GirlFend is a female-first clothing line embedded with hidden self-defense mechanisms. The name derives from a similar “double take” convention, representative of the product selection.

Tiana designed GirlFend’s identity from end-to-end, from concepting its look and feel to its logotype and complimentary graphics.

Personally, Tiana has a divested interest in visual cognitivity.

A practice that explores different ways of seeing. Here: the transparent grid as a “Field of Vision,” adjusting for various levels of zoom. It’s what the world could look like if the surface of the eye was an image on its own.
